Hallstatt

Hallstatt on Lake Hallstatt is only about two hours south of Salzburg in the Salzkammergut. In addition to the promenade with swans, the waterfall in the middle of the picturesque center and the many rustic houses, Hallstatt has a lot more to offer: It was once one of the most important regions in Europe, since salt was mined here and the place closed even before Rome existed Wealth came.
